What is dotSUB?

dotSUB is a browser based technology for subtitling videos into and from any language. dotSUB allows you to view, upload, time code caption/transcribe and subtitle videos on the web. You do not need to download, buy, or install any software.

You can search for and view thousands videos from all over the world, and select the language that you would like to view the subtitles in.

You can upload your own videos, caption and subtitle them yourself, or open them up for anyone who may want subtitle the video into their own language in a "wiki" type of environment. You can also share your videos with the world by embedding them on other sites, complete with subtitles in multiple languages.

For advanced users, dotSUB offers a collaboration and content management system for captioning and translating large collections of videos inside a single powerful workflow project.
