How can I subtitle a video?
To subtitle a video, you must be logged in to dotSUB. Click once
on the video you are interested in subtitling, look to the right of
the player for the blue "Transcribe Translate" tab. Select you
language from the drop down menu, then click on the yellow
"Translate" button.
This will take you to the translation user interface (UI). You
will see the source language in black type, and a box directly
under each line with blue text. Click on the line and type your
translation. Hit enter on your keyboard to automatically save your
work and go on to the next line.
If you are translating an entire video, be sure to hit the enter key after you translate the very last line. You can then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Back to Video" to view your work.
