Setting up Ooyala Video IngestDotsub uses mRSS to ingest videos from your Ooyala account. To set up a mRSS feed in Ooyala:
1. Login to your backlot account
2. Select the ‘publish’ tab
3. Select ‘External Publishing’
4. Select ‘MP4 mRSS’ and hit ‘Add’
5. Name this new feed and select the label you are using to denote content that should be set to dotsub.
You can configure a mRSS video ingest from the project settings tab in your project dashboard. Hitting the 'plus' on the Media Ingestors pane allows you to add a new ingestor. From the type menu select 'mRSS'.
Now all you have to do is add a video to that mRSS feed. then hit the ingest button on Dotsub. If you'd like more information on mRSS feeds in Ooyala please refer to their documentation: http://support.ooyala.com/documentation/tasks/ingestion_mrss_use.html
You can check your configuration is correct on the 'Project Information' tab. Here you will see the ingest logs.
Setting up Ooyala Video Push
You can configure a Ooyala video push from the project settings tab in your project dashboard. Hitting the 'gear' on the Media Push pane allows you to add a new ingestor. From the type menu select 'Ooyala'.
Media Push has two configuration options API Key and Secret Key, both of these can be found in your Ooyala account settings. You can find out more about these keys here: http://support.ooyala.com/developers/documentation/concepts/api_keys.html
Once configured, each published caption or translation will be uploaded back into your Ooyala account.
You can check your configuration is correct on the 'Project Information' tab. Here you will see the push logs.
